Do you want to work with species protection issues in some of Sweden's most extensive development and construction projects? We are looking for an experienced species protection expert who wants to contribute their expertise to assignments related to, among other things, infrastructure, energy, industry, and community development in northern Sweden.

In this role, you are responsible for surveys, analysis, and advice within species protection, with a particular focus on species groups such as birds, amphibians, and bats. You work with the entire process – from planning and conducting field surveys to analysis, report writing, and preparing materials for permit and consultation processes. The work also includes dialogue with authorities, clients, and other stakeholders, as well as support for project managers and technical specialists in complex project environments.

We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education or university degree in, for example, biology, ecology, or nature conservation, as well as at least three years of experience working with species protection issues. You have good knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation and experience in conducting surveys, assessments, and investigations related to species protection. Experience from consulting work or work in larger development projects is desirable.
